Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VMA21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VMA21 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher VMA21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VMA21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where VMA21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
