Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, VIP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,143 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible VIP-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL21R, ICAM5, and ASPN. Each is linked with VIP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VIP-to-partner and partner-to-VIP results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, VIP versus IL21R in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.40.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VIP→partner) and Y-score (partner→VIP) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
