Across TCGA cell cohorts, VIM RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,436 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible VIM-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of collagen metabolic process, Peptidyl-lysine oxidation, and Establishment of epithelial cell apical/basal polarity. Each is linked with VIM in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VIM-to-partner and partner-to-VIM results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Regulation of collagen metabolic process grouped by VIM-low versus VIM-high in LUNG_NSCLC_LUSC.
