Across TCGA patient cohorts, VIL1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,054 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VIL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are DDC, HNF4G, and SGK2. Each is linked with VIL1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VIL1-to-partner and partner-to-VIL1 results are reported.
