Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VGLL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VGLL2 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher VGLL2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VGLL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where VGLL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
