Across TCGA patient cohorts, VEGFA RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 13,373 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VEGFA-associated proteins across cancer lineages are FLT1, ANGPT2, and P4HA1. Each is linked with VEGFA in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VEGFA-to-partner and partner-to-VEGFA results are reported.
