Across TCGA cell cohorts, VCP mutation is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 3,664 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCP-associated genes across cancer lineages are FASN, SZT2, and RASGRP2. Each is linked with VCP in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCP-to-partner and partner-to-VCP results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FASN grouped by VCP-low versus VCP-high in STOMACH.
