VCAN

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → PROTEIN-MSPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VCAN RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 19,341 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCAN-associated proteins across cancer lineages are VCAN_S2116, P3H3, and PALLD. Each is linked with VCAN in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAN-to-partner and partner-to-VCAN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, VCAN versus VCAN_S2116 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.39.

RNA expression associated proteins by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VCAN→partner) and Y-score (partner→VCAN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
