Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, VCAN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,121 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible VCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are CIDECP1, OIP5, and EZH2. Each is linked with VCAN in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAN-to-partner and partner-to-VCAN results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CIDECP1 grouped by VCAN-low versus VCAN-high in READ.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VCAN→partner) and Y-score (partner→VCAN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
