VCAN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VCAN mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 97 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, Caspase-7-cleavedD198, and Cyclin-B1. Each is linked with VCAN in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAN-to-partner and partner-to-VCAN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, 4E-BP1 grouped by VCAN-low versus VCAN-high in STAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VCAN→partner) and Y-score (partner→VCAN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
