Across TCGA cell cohorts, VCAN RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,793 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCAN-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of cell-substrate junction assembly, Positive regulation of supramolecular fiber organization, and Regulation of focal adhesion assembly. Each is linked with VCAN in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAN-to-partner and partner-to-VCAN results are reported.
