VCAN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, VCAN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,187 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMEM170A, CCNF, and ARSK. Each is linked with VCAN in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VCAN-to-partner and partner-to-VCAN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TMEM170A grouped by VCAN-low versus VCAN-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VCAN→partner) and Y-score (partner→VCAN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
