Across TCGA patient cohorts, VAX1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 250 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VAX1-associated genes across cancer lineages are NXT2, GSR, and TYK2. Each is linked with VAX1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VAX1-to-partner and partner-to-VAX1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, VAX1 versus NXT2 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.68.
