Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UST-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UST-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher UST-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UST-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and BLCA show a favorable association.

DLBC, ESCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where UST-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
