Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP9Y RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated USP9Y data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher USP9Y RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP9Y expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UVM show a favorable association.

HNSC, THCA, and UVM are the cancer types where USP9Y RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
