Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP9Y Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP9Y data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher USP9Y Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP9Y expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where USP9Y Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
