Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP44 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP44 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher USP44 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, SCLC, and BLCA are the cancer types where USP44 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
