Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP43 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP43 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher USP43 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where USP43 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
