Across TCGA patient cohorts, USP43 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,398 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible USP43-associated genes across cancer lineages are PKIA, RIN1, and AKT3-IT1. Each is linked with USP43 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both USP43-to-partner and partner-to-USP43 results are reported.
