Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP28 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP28 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher USP28 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and PRAD are the cancer types where USP28 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
