Across TCGA patient cohorts, USP16 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,470 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible USP16-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCT8, ATE1, and FST. Each is linked with USP16 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both USP16-to-partner and partner-to-USP16 results are reported.
