Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP12 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated USP12 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher USP12 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where USP12 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
