Across TCGA patient cohorts, USP12 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,272 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible USP12-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASPA, SEPTIN4, and KHDRBS2. Each is linked with USP12 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both USP12-to-partner and partner-to-USP12 results are reported.
