Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UQCRQ RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UQCRQ data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher UQCRQ RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UQCRQ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UVM, LUAD, and UCS are the cancer types where UQCRQ RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
