Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UQCRH mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UQCRH data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UQCRH mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UQCRH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.
HNSC, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where UQCRH mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
