Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UPP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UPP1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher UPP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UPP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, KICH, and LUAD are the cancer types where UPP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
