Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UPK1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UPK1B data layer compared with 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher UPK1B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UPK1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and UCEC show a favorable association.

STAD, KIRP, and UCEC are the cancer types where UPK1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
