Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNCX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UNCX data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher UNCX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNCX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
COAD, BRCA, and SCLC are the cancer types where UNCX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
