Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNC5CL mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UNC5CL data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher UNC5CL mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNC5CL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where UNC5CL mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
