Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UNC5C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UNC5C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher UNC5C mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UNC5C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC and PDAC are the cancer types where UNC5C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
