Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGT8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGT8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher UGT8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGT8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

SCLC, UCEC, and OV are the cancer types where UGT8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
