Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGT8 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGT8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher UGT8 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGT8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where UGT8 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
