Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UGT2A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UGT2A3 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher UGT2A3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UGT2A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
PDAC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where UGT2A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
