Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UFC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UFC1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher UFC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UFC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and LUAD are the cancer types where UFC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
