Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UCMA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UCMA data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UCMA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UCMA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where UCMA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
