Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBL4A RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UBL4A data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher UBL4A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBL4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and SKCM show a favorable association.

KICH, UVM, and LGG are the cancer types where UBL4A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
