Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBE3A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated UBE3A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UBE3A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBE3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where UBE3A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
