Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UBAP2L RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UBAP2L data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher UBAP2L RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UBAP2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and PAAD show a favorable association.

SCLC, ACC, and KIRP are the cancer types where UBAP2L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
