Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TYSND1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TYSND1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TYSND1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TYSND1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
CESC, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TYSND1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
