Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TXNL4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TXNL4B data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher TXNL4B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TXNL4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and THYM show a favorable association.
ACC, MESO, and LGG are the cancer types where TXNL4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
