Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TXNL4B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TXNL4B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TXNL4B mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TXNL4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where TXNL4B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
