Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TXNL4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TXNL4A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TXNL4A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TXNL4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM are the cancer types where TXNL4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
