Across TCGA patient cohorts, TXNIP mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 20 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TXNIP-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, JNK2, and MEK1. Each is linked with TXNIP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TXNIP-to-partner and partner-to-TXNIP results are reported.
