Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TTC9C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TTC9C data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TTC9C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TTC9C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and PRAD are the cancer types where TTC9C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
