Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TST Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TST data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TST Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TST expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, STAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where TST Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
