Across TCGA patient cohorts, TSPAN8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 14,348 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TSPAN8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SH3BGRL2, CSE1L, and PBLD. Each is linked with TSPAN8 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TSPAN8-to-partner and partner-to-TSPAN8 results are reported.
