Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN32 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TSPAN32 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TSPAN32 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN32 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where TSPAN32 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
