Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TSPAN12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TSPAN12 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TSPAN12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TSPAN12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where TSPAN12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
