Across TCGA cell cohorts, TSPAN1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,956 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TSPAN1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of iron ion transport, Positive regulation of iron ion transmembrane transport, and Regulation of action potential. Each is linked with TSPAN1 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TSPAN1-to-partner and partner-to-TSPAN1 results are reported.
