Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPC4AP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPC4AP data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TRPC4AP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPC4AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where TRPC4AP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
